My name is Russ Jones. I’m a Gen Xer from East Tennessee who fits most of the generational stereotypes [independent, adaptable, skeptical]. I turned 53 this March, and I’m currently in the process of reinventing myself again. As exhausting as that has felt for me at times, I can’t imagine any other alternatives that would suit my disposition.
I have a few motivations for starting this website, and I hope you’ll consider subscribing and/or engaging. My goal is to create content that’s simple, useful, and actionable to begin sharing some tools, tricks, resources, philosophies, etc. I’ve always been fascinated by figuring out how things work, and I love gaining new understanding of myself and the world around me. The one constant I’ve come to expect is change–and lately it’s been accelerating at an increasingly rapid pace.
I’ve been obsessed with learning, growth, change and understanding how things work. I’m still figuring out what I want to do when I grow up; maybe you are too.
Have you ever felt like you’re meant for more but you don’t know how to find it? Do you want to feel a deeper connection with people? Human beings are social animals who are tribal in nature. Technology has increased at an increasingly rapid pace. As much as the promise of technology offered a better future,
Pain in life is unavoidable; suffering is not. Long ago, I accepted a truth that was self-evident at the time: there’s always a price to pay to get what we want, it’s just a matter of how hard we’re willing to work for it. The price might be money, time, effort, etc. Enough for now; please consider subscribing and/or engaging!
