Natural Capitalism

I remember reading this book in the early 2000’s, which I’m linking to here.

I recently re-read this book; if you haven’t read it, I’d highly recommend it, for a couple of different reasons. Sustainability is more relevant and important than ever, and this book does a great job of making the case for why this approach makes so much sense for everyone.

When I was going back through it, it also reminded me of just how damn optimistic we once were, and how seemingly far we’ve fallen away from these concepts. I get that some of it reads as academic and not ‘real world.’ I also think one could make the case that what real world will we have left if we continue to ignore the obvious?

I’d really love some constructive dialogue on this topic—what do you think? While we’re on the topic of books, what have you read that’s changed your thinking or perspective?
