Life has been really challenging me, in many ways lately. Just last week, I was talking to a longtime friend and fraternity brother of mine, Shay Eskew. He often says, ‘Sometimes you gotta just embrace the suck.’
I totally agree…and if you don’t follow Shay on social media, you absolutely should; you can link to socials from the link above. Some people have a way of being memorable in our lives, and Shay is definitely that; I imagine that most of my friends who know him would agree. Shay and I are a lot alike in so many ways, and so completely different in others. Just recently, I was talking with him; it’s amazing how much value a quick conversation with someone can have, especially when you trust that person’s expertise. By the way, if you’re not already following Shay on social media, you absolutely should. If you’re interested in reading more about his story of inspiration, you can find that here on Amazon.
I’m looking for new ways to be a lot more social as quickly as possible. especially since things have become so remote-centric. What place[s] and location[s] are you going to connect with people in person? I want to do a lot more of that, and I thought I’d ask what others recommend. I’m especially interested in hearing from those in the creative arts category, but welcome to any and all!
